The Stone County is America's Blacksmith Shop, using traditional hand forging techniques to create iron furniture and accessories, one at a time. Quality worksmanship that reflects the skill of the blacksmith continues to set them apart from other manufacturers.
The Stone County in Mountain View, Arkansas was begun in an old gas station in 1979 by one blacksmith, who apprenticed and demonstrated the craft at the Ozark Folk Center in 1976. By 2003, after reorganization and consolidation of resources, the Stone County facility at 408 Ironworks Drive was purchased by local business leader, Paul Balentine. As CEO, he brings production and business expertise to the new corporation, Metal Creations, Inc. Stone County is committed to returning to their roots, with the reputation and standards of Made in America quality and satisfaction. The Pine Collection, Vineyard Collection, and the Designer Series, designed by the Daniel Stuart Studio, are new product lines created under new management, as they rekindle the spark of excitement and pride in workmanship learned in Stone County.
